Jamie Kerr

Jamie Kerr

Staff Physiotherapist

Jamie was born and bred in the small Waikato town of Morrinsville. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2025, spending her final year of study in Hawkes Bay before returning to Dunedin. Jamie's interest in becoming a physiotherapist began with her love of sport and personal experiences with injury and rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping people move better and return to activities meaningful to them. Jamie brings enthusiasm, resilience, and a strong willingness to learn. She values clear communication, collaborative care and committed to providing inclusive and culturally responsive physiotherapy so every patient feels supported throughout their recovery. Jamie was drawn to Recovery Room’s belief that everyone deserves an elite athlete level of care and personalised treatment guiding every rehabilitation journey. She values Recovery Room's commitment to supporting Dunedin’s sporting community. Through her clinical placement and sport medic experience Jamie has gained exposure to musculoskeletal and sport injury rehabilitation - areas that she is keen to continue developing in as a junior physiotherapist. When Jaimie is not in the clinic you'll find her at the beach, keeping active, watching, or playing sports and spending time with her friends and family.
